The solution required a ruggedized design with industrial-grade interfaces, real-time AI processing for vision compute & control, and efficient thermal & power management. Additionally, the system needs to integrate multiple high-speed interfaces, while ensuring operational safety and productivity in confined spaces.
The primary objective of the project, to develop a ruggedized High-Performance Computing (HPC)-based Autonomous Control Unit capable of supporting autonomous control in underground mining vehicles.
