Chennai, India, February 16, 2016: Calsonic Kansei (CK) and L&T Technology Services inaugurated the dedicated Material Test Centre (MTC) at Chennai. The test centre is setup and operated by L&T Technology Services to cater to Calsonic Kansei’s global needs of material testing including Japan, Europe, North America, Thailand and India. The inauguration was presided over by Calsonic Kansei’s Executives, Mr. Katsumi Nakamura - Chairman, Mr. Hiroshi Moriya – President & CEO, Mr. Hideto Murakami -EVP (R&D) along with Dr. Keshab Panda – CEO and MD, L&T Technology Services and Mr. Kumar Prabhas – COO, L&T Technology Services.
The new centre is equipped with state of the art machines to test a range of automotive plastics. Mr. Murakami commented “This (MTC) is a strategic centre to take care of our global testing needs, it adds significant value to Calsonic Kansei and we are happy to expand our relationship with L&T Technology Services since the start of our Engineering Development Centre a little less than 4 years ago”.
