L&T Technology Services partners with Zodiac Systems for Advanced Set-Top Box Solutions

AMSTERDAM/BENGALURU, September 13, 2019: L&T Technology Services (NSE: LTTS), a leading global pure-play engineering services company, has partnered with Zodiac Systems, a global leader in cloud and device video service delivery software firm, to provide a comprehensive software upgrade solution for set-top boxes (STB). Under the partnership, both companies will provide advanced software solutions to more than 150 million STB devices that LTTS supports globally for video operators and OEMs.

LTTS is among the top STB support services providers for cable, telco and satellite video operators and OEMs. The company is now partnering with Zodiac to add the latter’s video service delivery software platform to LTTS’ broad solutions and services portfolio. Proven on tens of millions of devices and orchestrating myriad BSS/OSS systems against carriergrade SLAs over the long term, Zodiac’s platform consists of:

• The Zodiac Stack device software, a hardware-agnostic set-top software platform proven to enable enhanced user interfaces to run on any set-top box, including over 150 models today
• The Zodiac Matrix cloud software, a microservices-based cloud API management and integration platform that is preconfigured for over 100 BSS/OSS vendor systems, thus enabling the typically inflexible and closed video “walled garden” to act like any modern cloud network
